FAQs

When will your shop be updated?

I update every other Friday! Make sure to follow me on Instagram and sign up for my newsletter to be reminded. When I do have an update, I show the colorways that will be available over on my YouTube channel the Friday of the update.

When will my in-stock order ship?

I ship same day for in-stock orders placed before 12pm ET. Orders placed after 12pm ET will be shipped the following business day.

When will my pre-order ship?

Please allow 3-6 weeks for pre-orders. It usually takes less than that but I will communicate with you if there are any delays.

Do you accept custom orders?

I do not offer customs but I will dye up one of my out of stock colorways on an available base in the quantity you need. Please email me to let me know what you need and I will see what I can do to fit you into my dye schedule. :)

My order is wrong? What should I do?

Please email me! I'm so sorry but occasionally do I slip up when packing orders -- but I am always happy to make it right.

Why does my order look different from the photo?

The photos on the item's product page are an example of the colorway you will receive. I always use the same recipes when replicating colorways, but due to the nature of hand dyeing and the magic of speckles, the appearance of colorways and saturation can and will vary, even within the same dye batch and across different bases. This only adds to the beauty and uniqueness of your yarn. I think that adds to the mystique of indie dyed yarns!

Where is your yarn sourced from?

My Merino fibers come from various sources from around the world.  My supplier insists that none of their merino fibers are to come from farms practicing mulesing.  So you can be confident that my Merino is mulesing-free.

My Natural Mom base is Peruvian Merino from small herds in the mountains where sheep are the livelihood of the shepherds.  It is in their interest to look after their livestock carefully in order to receive the highest price possible for the fleece and to guarantee themselves an income.  My supplier's Peruvian mill also provides education programs to help shepherds get the best out of their animals.

My other bases come from Argentina and Uruguay. They are sourced from many farms of varying sizes, from smaller to larger farms.

Do you accept wholesale orders?

I welcome wholesale orders! Please send me an email if you're interested and I will send you my prices and wholesale policies.
